Hello! My name is Mimi Kuchman and I am currently 56 years old. When I was 19, I was in a horrible head on car collision. My right leg was broken in about 52 places and my left leg was broken in about 47 places. I had cracked ribs, a damaged hand and damage to the spinal cord; I could not walk. We knew I would most likely walk again but didn’t know how long that meant, as in healing time, and how much I would get back.
My mother, Joan Roswell, found Dr Gordin who at the time was specializing in musicians. She felt because he had this knowledge of all the small bones in your hand, he must really know the body. He agreed to take my project on.
I was in the hospital for a few days and the doctors there were trying to figure out what surgery I needed on my legs, to keep them together and what they were going to do about my spinal cord. Dr Gordin told my mom to get me out! She did the next day against the hospital’s wishes.
I went to Dr Gordin’s office every day for three hours for months. He would manipulate my legs and kept all the bones healing in place. I took sooooo many vitamins I wasn’t hungry:) Eventually I could drag myself to the bathroom and lay in a shower. It was now time to work harder on the spine. He did so and within another month or two, I was walking. I could not believe it!!!!
We continued for about 6 months and it was as if I had never had the accident at all! I went on in life to become a triple black diamond skier, competed in horseback riding, started a company, got married and had two children. Life is good because of him…because of him, I have a life!
I trust him as a Doctor more than anyone else on Earth. He is an amazing man with a knowledge and understanding about the body that no one has that I have ever met. He also cares about his people and wants them to have a good life….he is a person who is able to make life better no matter what you are seeing him for. I am forever grateful.
This story segs into how I sent my husband to him from Colorado just recently, and the miracle recovery my husband has experienced after everyone else failed.
