What to expect on your first visit with Dr. Gordin

When you come to visit Dr. Gordin, you are taking that brilliant step in the direction to a well-cared, pain-free life.
New Patients of Gordin Chiropractic can expect their first visit to flow as follows:
Fill out patient forms! Once you have set an appointment for your first visit, you will be sent an email with all the necessary patient forms to get you started. If you’d even like a head start to the greeting or you need help with the download, click here. If you forget your form or don’t have a printer, just visit 20 minutes earlier than your appointment to fill them out in office. Any questions? Call us!
Walking into the office! Both our locations are surrounded in beauty (although we find most patients adore the look of the Valencia Office, just a bit more) with gorgeous plants and comfortable seating. When you arrive, head to the front desk to check in and hand your forms to our wonderful receptionist.
Consultation Time! You will be directed into an office to discuss your problems and concerns (people tend to have more than they originally think!) to begin forming treatment options. Here both you and Dr. Gordin will get to know each other and determine whether or not chiropractic care will help with your life.
Examination! Once chiropractic care is determined to be beneficial for you, Dr. Gordin will examine your reflexes, range of motion, and more through a series of muscle tests and Advanced Applied Kinesiology.
X-ray Studies! Depending on the severity of your condition, Dr. Gordin may write you an order form to take X-rays for the verification of details and to discuss more in-depth on the challenges to overcome. He has found that many patients enjoy learning and seeing more about their exact situations to understand and prepare for the healing process ahead.
Treatment & Program! Typically your first treatment will occur at the end of your appointment along with a starter program that consists of high-quality natural supplements to aid in your general health and to keep the healing adjustments in place.
Concluding the Visit! An email will be sent within 24 hours of your visit including detailed information relating to your concerns for you to read and come to an understanding of what is going on exactly. By your next visit, you will have a clear understanding of what to work with and will be able to get into specifics with Dr. Gordin.
